I have grown tired of Jose Abreu

Wow.. they are optioning Bagwell down to Florida also.

Bregman is a good teammate. But I think deep down even he knows, Abreu is washed.

 

He wrote his retirement party speech (first half)…. And then said the thing he has to say.

Maybe they can find that magic designer PED in Florida that MLB hasn’t figured out how to test for yet… Florida has all of those sciences and Bagwell may be one of the (alleged) best liaisons to “assist” with some of those decisions.

 

Coming into last night our first baseman had 3 RBI in 124 PA.

Last night they had 5 RBI, 99% sure we lose last night if Abreu had started at 1st. I still don't think Singleton is the answer after 1 HR, but even my low evaluation of him is miles ahead of Abreu.

 

I seriously wonder if Abreu has had his eyes checked lately. He's at the age where it could be as simple as that.

 

Where is Carlos Beltran when you need him? Has Abreu tried looking at the ball with BOTH eyes?

Have we considered maybe it’s the 2 pounds of tobacco he slams between his lips and gums? Those 2 pounds can make a difference on a level swing.

Does anyone really believe Jose abreu will go down to Florida and come back ready to rake?

 

I just think its GD hilarious that 4 people are being sent to (WPB) FL: Abreu, his agent, Begwill, his agent
I dont know about yall, but I generally go to WPB/FLL for vacation & to wild out in the most relaxed of atmospheres... (as in = not to get right)

He’s done more this series than Abreu has done all season.
