Hard pass! Lebron and what he’s physically capable of, you have to acknowledge and appreciate. That’s where the appreciation stops for me. There was a time I would have liked to see him on this team. In one of the ultimate team sports he’s always been about himself. In that aspect he’s not much different than Harden. Let the Lakers draft Bronny. While even at his current age he’s still a better talent than some players on this team, you have to be concerned that he could set this team back from a culture and development standpoint. Not to mention the development time he would take away from our youthful core. Adding this version of Lebron does not make this team a championship contender so it’s a no.
Never been a Bron fan, but his greatness is undeniable. Currently, not one player on this team is anywhere near him. Just saying.
Depends on where Caserio thinks Bronny could fit and if he thinks LeBron can handle the backup tight-end role.
It's no for me. Not a LeBron fan, but worst would be the LeBron fans who will flood this board. *shudders*
Get'er done Stoney...I mean Tinman, I mean noble Udoka That epic moment would be Tinman telling R Paul/Maverick to just Shut Up and Listen Also we would get to hear how many ex-teammates that Hollins and Bron have shared each game
Oh hell no, Lebron takes too much away from others and doesn't play D much anymore. He has been amazing, he is now just a scorer and dominates the ball. DD
What is this obsession with old washed players? I see people in other threads wanting to trade for KD and now Lebron? What the hell are we doing? What stage do you think this team is at ?
Lebron is going nowhere. He's just well coached on how to use his power over the franchise to leverage what he wants. He has no reason at this point in his career to go to a team like Houston where they are. He'll retire a Laker I'm betting. I think he thinks he can get them to give him one more good title run by gutting every asset they have, and making trades... while also getting one last big legacy pay day, and getting his son drafted waaayyyy higher than he should be.
LeBron for the league minimum might be fun and LeBron under Udoka would really be fun. Let him play PF with the second unit while Bronny fills the Boban victory cigar/cheerleader role.
LeBron likes Sengun’s game so if he joins Houston, he helps fulfill the dreams of Alperen’s Only-Fans. For Rockets fans, not so much. I think most of us want to build a dynasty around the organization rather pick favorites.
As a fan of Lebron I wouldn't. He is currently better than anyone on our roster and could help the players develop IF he doesn't demand that we ship out these players for "ready-now" players. That "IF" is actually the most likely outcome. I'd rather have all of our young guys than to get a player past his prime making demands. My guess is if we did that, drafted Bronny, kept our players we'd end up 4th - 6th seed or so (part of the seed jump is from 1 extra year of organic development).
If you count the "lebron calls" (or no calls) I agree. Basketball wise, sorry, you are wrong. We are talking about a dude that is bricking shots, missing layups and not coming back on defense. I see many guys here able to do that.
