But what manager can overcome a terrible pitching staff?

Not understanding the Espada hate. It's not his fault that Hader, Bregman, Pressley, Abreu, and Abreu are stealing money.

Put the blame with the players.

Keep running them out there and let themselves embarrass themselves. That's the proper punishment.

Bregman about to be jealous of Matt Chapman....

Are we just as bad with Dusty as manager this year?
Thought I’d stir the pot some…

Instead of trying to STAB Dusty in the back, Espada should have been paying attention and learn how to manage players.

Time to see how close Abreu can get to .050 before being released

Then again, Espada isn’t exactly motivating his players. Almost lifeless watching them competing.

Yeah... because Yainer will be glued to the bench. And Abreu would still be batting 4th or 5th...

Not even this win can help Abreu get out of the infield...

The thing about Espada, or Culley, or Bo Porter, or literally any losing manager, or head coach is that *of course* there are matters they have to deal with that are unfairly blamed on them. People get fired in sports to send a message to the players, or the fanbase. People get fired when teams figure out that no matter how much the luck goes the other way, some people can be Generals and others are suited to be staff underlings. If the Astros continue to play like this much longer, Espada is going to be in danger.
