It's early but I think the Astros top to bottom when everyone is healthy is still the best team in the AL. Just need to string some series wins together. The best they can do in this series is a split.
Yep. Still spring training for some of these guys. Didn’t help that the Astros got 3 playoff-level opponents out of the gate whereas normally you have at least one dullard from the first 3 series. Blanco doing great is very encouraging. Of course now that every team will anticipate the changeup now, will need to ensure the staff knows how to coach him/Diaz on how to optimize his fastball to make them pay for sitting on the off-speed.
Come to realization this is the year of Blanco & Diaz (at least April '24 is)... hopefully we'll see another two players (pitcher & position/hitters) each month own June, July, August, September.
