Rockets were running on adrenaline for half that streak. Alpi’s absence has been noticed in these losses. If we aren’t hitting threes and aren’t able to run and score, we can’t score efficiently in the half court. Granted last night we had tons of open looks. But if you can’t hit them and need shots closer to rim, you need Alpi.

The Dallas game, we played poorly, but also… like what do you do against Luka when he can’t miss like that? Should have at least double teamed him earlier in the game. But even w Sengun we can’t beat anyone top teams when they have a star playing like that. Whether it is the Suns’ KD or Wolves’ Davis.

The offense then was for KPJ and Jalen to pound the ball and Sengun was not even considered to be a starter. The past two Rockets games, losses, were to actual elite teams where, once again, the Silas' Jalen centric offense was exposed. It is not true that Sengun is slow and is hindering the fast paced offense. He is faster than most centers and has even led fast breaks from coast to coast on many occasions. The problem prior to his injury was that the players who were counted on to make their shots, especially from long range, could not make them. Jalen at that time was not as aggressive and purposeful in his drives unlike what he is doing now, and it has nothing to do with Sengun's absence. He was also able to make his long threes although he has been missing them again lately.

Agree. I think his improvement on that aspect is more mental than skill. He is just hesitant to take the midrange shot even when it is available to him. Even his three point shot seems to have improved but he is just hesitant to take it. Hopefully, he will be able to work on his mid and long range shots more in the offseason and also develop his confidence to take those shots when available.

The Rockets are the worst at closing quarters. Rinse and repeat

we still have time to decide on sengun after we sign him to the max. If he doesn't develop a good 3 point shot by then, he's expendable. If cam and amen rise to the top, it'll be obvious to deal him....then sign the rest.

Were is all the energy for getting rid of Sengun after going 0-3 when it actually mattered, getting shut out of the play-in by the team we were trying to overtake? Where is all the energy saying Jalen is playing better because Sengun is gone after another 4 of 12 night with 13 points to show for it?

I've only managed to watch one game since Sengun was injured - just a lot of things happening all at once so I've only been able to get onto Clutchfans for a few minutes each night as well and haven't had time to read a lot of what's happening.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong because I've just been seeing box scores lately, but it seems the three games against an actual good team who had something to play for.... the Rockets got the regular Jalen Green we all know and don't love?

Sure hope they didn't already start drafting that mega contract watching him beat up on the worst of the worst.

Seems like those insane ones who said we'd rather wait and see him do this for the majority of the first 40 games of next season before believing a corner was turned, weren't the crazy ones. Shock. Gasp. Who knew. (well, we did)

Only if the Rockets could keep playing against teams that are trying to lose games.

We lost by 5 last we played them and Alperen had 30-13-5…Jalen Green was a team worst -13… Alperen was a +5. Let’s not forget who dragged us here.

    /Woosh :D

The March run requires a ton of context. We move cautiously.

We haven’t even sniffed these last 3 games. Not even close to winning. Contending teams just toying with us.

Portland twice. Washington twice. Utah twice. San Antonio twice.

    March truthers need to chill.
