Diggs trade has be rethinking the OL. If there is one worth taking, I don't think I'd be against shoring things up there in case of injury. Offense has a chance to be special.

Packers picking at 41 need a starting NT. They should be targeting Newton or Sweat with the pick.

It's on another board.... but here is his quote
"Ladd, Mitchell, Pearsall, Worthy, Legette are the names I've heard mentioned that we like at WR. Haven't heard of too many we're not interested in, but I know we're not fans of Corley. "

Now is the time we can legitimately discuss how the Texans will draft.

I've always loved how free agency sets up the NFL draft.

We got our WR, defensive studs, and RB, so let's take a CB #1 and add more depth to our OLine and defense with our 2nd or 3rd picks We need quality depth! The injuries were hard to ignore, and I don't trust our OLine staying healthy.

I'd even go for another RB and WR for depth later on.

I'm salivating for DT Sweat and a start SS with our draft picks.. I might actually go to a few games this year for the 1st time since 2010.. Though I know ticket prices will be higher than Diddy's defense lawyer now

Spotify sends me a notification: "This time last year you were blasting P.Diddy. Relive the magic" Don't know if they were trolling me.
I really liked that No Way Out album.
But yeah Draft is going to be fun even without 1st round pick.

Nine picks is too many. Let's trade some of them and get it down to seven.

Drafting WR still in play since Diggs is a rental.

I disagree with your takes on drafting a WR this year. There is not a roster spot available for a Wide Receiver.. You won't need to draft a WR until 2025 when you have several WR contracts that have expired. Linebacker, Safety, Defensive Tackle, Cornerback, and Running Back have immediate needs now. And if this draft wasn't such a bad TE draft, I would look to add a TE as well.

I understand what you’re saying but why do you feel it’s no spot for a wr? After the obvious top 3 at wr it’s not much after that. If Ladd is there or Roman Wilson that would be very tempting.

As it stands now, the WR room is too full. Metchie, Hutchinson, Brown, Woods, & Sims. With the top 3 you mentioned, that makes 8. One or two of those will have to find a new home as it stands now. The first 3 picks should all go to Defense. You need a starter at LB, DT, and Safety. That should be your first 3 picks regardless of what WR is still available and tempting.. Adding a WR in the round 2 or 3 will not improve your team right now because you already have 3 premier WR starters. Adding a WR late in the draft would also be a waste because you already have depth at the position. The Texans need depth at other positions such as RB, Edge, LB, and CB.
