What makes you think Sengun cannot extend his game? Sengun ft% is consistent and is similar or better than the first 6 year ft shooting of hakeem. Not to mention that he is younger than the hakeem came into the league, even after 3 years of nba experience. Shooting by distance stats is available from 96-97. That year Hakeem shot 48.2% from 10-14 ft and 37.9% from 15-19 ft. Sengun shot 53.9% and 36.2% respectively in these two, with low volume particularly on 15-19 ft. On the other hand he tripled his volume on these two categories compared to 22-23. The kid is improving at everything and you(maybe not you) can see that he is ready to put in all the effort to do so. What is your argument? And no, Sengun does not have a soft layup game, not at all. He likes to bully his way to the rim, he likes contact. He is the opposite of soft lay-ups. He is extremely skilled and can find a way to make an easy lay-up but is not like centers like vucevic who avoid contact.
