This post pretends that it was actually ever about land. The "Palestinians" want to kill Jews. They want ALL the land. This will never change, no matter how many concessions are made to them. They will use almost all their resources towards murdering more Jews. History has shown that, their current leadership says it, polls show it, the celebrations in the streets after rapes and murders show it.
Again, polls showed that prior to Oct. 7th the majority wanted peaceful existence. The polls change all the time. There are both Palestinians and Israelis that want all the land will not accept any compromise. What history has shown over and over is that the bigoted policies which prevent a sustainable Palestinian state will not work and will not increase the security for Israelis. Neither side is willing to make the sacrifices necessary to try something new.
The "Palestinians" will not get rewarded with a state for raping and murdering the most Jews in a single day since the holocaust. They started a war, now they are finding out.
States are not awarded, they are recognized. Israel fought and won for its right to self determination. Either Israel annexes Gaza and West Bank like it has intended to since the Likud took power or you have a safe and stable Palestinian neighbor. Option 3 is a nuclear holocaust.
Lolol funny how the Russians care more about aid workers than the Israelis. You folks have lost the entire world. No moral compass.
The Samson Option (Hebrew: ברירת שמשון, b'rerat shimshon) is Israel's deterrence strategy of massive retaliation with nuclear weapons as a "last resort" against a country whose military has invaded and/or destroyed much of Israel.[1] In 2003, a military historian, Martin van Creveld, thought that the Second Intifada then in progress threatened Israel's existence.[35]Van Creveld was quoted in David Hirst's The Gun and the Olive Branch (2003) as saying: We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force. Let me quote General Moshe Dayan: 'Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother.' I consider it all hopeless at this point. We shall have to try to prevent things from coming to that, if at all possible. Our armed forces, however, are not the thirtieth strongest in the world, but rather the second or third. We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under.[36]
Don't let terrorists determine the outcome. Terrorists can not and should not determine a workable Palestinian state. It should be done because it is the right thing to do, not as a reward. Hamas deserves to be eliminated and removed from power. Half of the population now suffering weren't even able to vote back when Hamas was elected.
You believe in permanent occupation with no future for Palestinians. @Nook these folks don't get it. You give them no hope of a better life then wonder why things happen. Smh
I believe in Hamas having to be removed from power. And there is only one way to do it. To go into Rafah and eliminate them. After that, the Palestinian people need to show they are no longer Islamo-Nazis and need to credibly swear off their intent to destroy Israel and murder Jews. That means, the indoctrination of children to hate Jews must stop. Once these prerequisites are met, one can think about the future. Before that, these people do not deserve a state.
Palestinians absolutely deserve a state. Hamas doesn't deserve to be a part of it. Do Israelis deserve more security and the chance to live with more peace? Because the collective punishment, disproportionate military response, and denying a sustainable Palestinian state hasn't worked and it won't work. Even if you don't care about humane treatment of populations, you might think of greater peace and security for Israelis. U But if you care more about unjustly punishing an entire population than the the security and peace of Israelis, then keep supporting the current method.
