So the ban on assault weapons has expired. Anyone here in the market for an AK-47, Tec 9 or Uzi? Assault weapons ban to expire Monday I personally, feel that these weapons are not necessary. They are after all, assault weapons, you don't exactly need an AK-47 for home protection, these weapons should be reserved for people who have the need to assault, like the military, etc... When our founding fathers allowed the citizens of this country to bear arms, I don't think they had the foresight to envisions weapons such as these.
