Alot of idiot fans won't EVER give you your credit, just because of how you look (which is another story). But you've done a phenomenal job in the 4 years you've been here. Judging on where we're at, from where we were, the roster is full of young talent, solid vets & the best coach in the NBA. This is what a successful tank looks like! Kudos to Tilman for hiring the right guy after the Morey debacle From this To this
Incendiary thread is incendiary Celebrating the 11 game winning streak but believe it or not, that doesn't guarantee we will win a championship. Also he is still employed by Tilman Fertitta.
Dear Mr. Stone, Knowing that you read every post on ClutchFans, I am writing to you here today to say...
When you reduce it like that.... What about having a roster with mostly 22 and under players with high usage jump from 22 wins to 40+ wins with the national media labeling the Rockets as one of the best young cores with one of the best futures in the NBA? It's OKC and then it's a Houston l, Orlando and San Antonio with the Spurs depending on how much you believe one player turns a team into a "promising core" because that is literally all they have at this point. So in reality it's Thunder, Rockets and Magic that are the three teams NBA analysts believe are the three roster constructions that are primed for the best futures in the league. I'm assuming that's what people mean by praising Stone.
This. Going based on the average rebuild, and time frame it takes, Stone has done a GREAT job retaining assets, drafting & acquiring free agents. People were whining about giving up KJ Martin, and now we're the richest team in the league when it comes to young talent. Rocket fans should be more appreciative
If he looked like Sam Presti or Daryl Morey, most his critics would be making memes about how smart he is. Connect the dots
Dude, this is unnecessary and unwarranted. For years, Masai Ujiri was the most respected GM in the league, including by many on this board. Calling people racist for criticizing Rafael Stone is lame. Sure, there are some racists out there, but the vast majority of Stone’s critics are basing it on basketball. That said, I think Stone has been pretty good. Not amazing, but not bad.
Dude looks 100% white to me, not that it matters. I only found out he is mixed a few weeks ago, when I read an article about his dad.
No one and I mean no one thinks that dude is black when you look at him, unless you know. But of course rocketschump cares about that more than others.
I've never equated him to being black whatsoever.. I thought he was from a 3rd world country .. like Idaho or something
