    As much of this is kinda a joke I actually think there might be something to this besides a fluke.

    Maybe the hard fouls and defensive pressure tire out opponents which can affect ft%.

    also i wonder which team had the best % shot against them in history in a season.

    I watched this shot live and when it left the hand I said to myself, it will be lucky to hit net.....


    You can see how the ball jets forward at its peak of flight.

    The only way anyone can affect this is if their arena is crazy loud or you have tired the opponents legs. So maybe correlates to pace a tiny bit? I wonder if our blistering pride of athletic players is exhausting teams leading to tired legs leading to missed free throws.

    Ok is that enough of a stretch? :D

    It's all the fights. The fights tire the opponents out and sap their energy. They get an adrenaline rush expecting malice in the palace then nothing happens and they get a crash affecting their legs and energy levels.
