So anyone knows what Yao Ming is doing on his birthday ?? Here is what I've found:- http://www.xinhuanet.com/chinanews/2004-09/12/content_2850599.htm In summary: 1. Yao Ming had arrived Sanya of Hainan, a famous resort in China the evening of Sept 8, and blocked out an exclusive "presidential" villa. 2. He had purposedly stayed away from the media and had been disappearing for the past few days. 3. He was there with another 6 persons (3 males and 3 females) including his girl friend Ye Li, and Anthony Falsone, the strength and conditioning coach at Houston Rockets. 4. He was seen running daily along the beach of Dadonghai together with Anthony Falsone and his trainer. 5. According to an anonymous waiter of the hotel, Yao Ming & company led a very orderly and quiet life during their stay: breakfast at 09:30am, and Yao Ming would start his physical training with his coach/trainer around 11:30am along the beach. 6. Back in front of the hotel, Yao Ming, Anthony Falsone and trainer started rounds of 50-meter dash, until Yao Ming tired out with sweat, which left him huffing and puffing. 7. As the on-looking crowd including tourists gathered, hotel security guards started to stop fans from getting near to Yao Ming for pictures and autograph signature. 8. Yao Ming and company will leave Sanya after his birhtday. So, we can relax that Yao Ming did not forget about his strength and condition training EVEN on his holidays/birthday, and will return to USA in the best of form and shape for the pre-season camp !!!
