I drove a Lexus SC400 for like 7 Years and NEVER had a problem with it. I drove like a maniac too, drove it through Mexico (north - Monterrey) on occasion and drove put 130K miles on it. I never had a problem except the air compressor. I currently drive an SLK Mercedes and i've had a few problems with it, but my families been driving Mercedes for years and never really had many problems. I know the M-Class is a piece of crap and pulled the Mercedes numbers waaaay down. Lexus Mercedes I also know infinity has a 4-year 60K mile warranty versus most companies have 4-yr 50!!
cause acura is a rich mans honda even though they are the same car It's funny to me that in europe and everywhere else there is no acura, lexus or infiniti. Just in the US where people so much emphasis on class that they come out with the same basic concept of a car and call it a luxury line and all the upper class people buy it cuase they want to be higher when in reality if they go to Europe that same car that is an Acura RL is a Honda RL.... It's all marketing and how people look at things in the states i guess.
I have a VW Passat and i like that because it performs really well. So if you want a cheaper sedan that is a lil fun to drive, then VW is the one to get. Its like a poor mans BMW.
Actually, Lexus is in Europe and everywhere else except in Japan. Acura on the other hand, is only available in the US. Infiniti was available in Europe and some other places in the early 90's, but now you can only buy one in the States and other places like Taiwan. The Acura TSX in the States is the Honda Accord Euro in Australia, and just the Honda Accord in Japan and Europe. Same goes to the MDX and RSX, although they do improve the interiors of the Acura to somewhat warrant the extra premium you pay for it. -G'day-
