I'm just at an absolute loss as to how there are people who watched this season and think Sengun was holding Green back. As if he's stopped Jalen getting in the paint - wrong. As if he's refused to pass Jalen the ball - wrong. As if he's shooting 30 shots a night and limiting Jalen to 5 shots - wrong. Sengun did literally everything he could to get Green going. Created wide open shots. I mean I guess when Jalen missed all his wide open shots that was Sengun's fault for getting him the ball. Constantly running laps around the perimeter to free Green with a screen (huh? He's clogging the paint but doing this at the same time? Two places at once maybe he's the Turkish Magician not the Turkish Stiff) Consistently taking a back seat even though he knows he is better, and can dominate his matchup, just to try and get Green going and force feeding him. There are some really, really stupid people out there.
People will often resort to edgy racism when they have no argument or meaningful to say. Like I said earlier Alpi gets hate because he is too good. These idiots would probably like him much more if he truly was a "stiff" limited bench player who gets his scraps.
Steve Stifler aka Stiffmeister's son lol btw, in 2022, USA was third behind France and Spain in terms of no of visiting foreign tourists, Turkey a close 4th. 2023, Turkey passed USA and now the third country tourists love to visit, with more than 54 million visitors. Maybe that's why they are mad.
I never liked their show. But for real, F those dudes. This is Houston. We're the most culturally diverse city in the country. More languages are spoken here than in any City in the United States. Why in the hell would you call him a "Turkish stiff". If you think he's a stiff, so be it (though I think you're stupid for that), but why drag his Nationality into an insult? And honestly, I don't even think I'm overly sensitive about these things. I just think when a player comes here from another country they should feel welcomed by our city and our community, and this ain't that. Alpi deserves better - but luckily he's receiving better from the rest of our city. If they think that kind of thing is funny, they really need to retire.
On the plus side, it is nice to see pretty much everyone coming after these losers for this ****. Even the anti-Sengun crowd isn't having it, other than a few freaks. It's nice to see the fanbase all united and on the same page for once, lol.
The irony is that Sengun is probably the most physically flexible guy on the team. And flexible is literally the opposite of stiff. (I am literally using the word "literally" literally. )
These guys are not exactly America's finer elements. You see them everywhere, but a little more concentrated in places like Texas.
