Man I can see Jordan/Pippen like duo with Amen and Jalen. Obviously not as great as those legends but the way they compliment each other.
I like that… Tari is his own and unique self. Over the last month or so, I’ve been gradually becoming optimistic in the vision the FO and Udoka had for this team. I had to keep reminding my self how many young players we have playing significant minutes, but since the ASB, you can see what this team could potentially become.I’m really excited about next year.
Yeah that's what stood out to me as well! WOW Full kudos to Jalen for being #2, but for a PG playing PF/C on offence to be #9 - that is truly something.
A) I'm not totally familiar with this rating system and how it's calculated, but I'm reasonably sure it's more than just a total of box score stats. You likely have to actually be playing efficiently (kinda like PER, I assume) B) The Rockets were 4-0 (3-0?) during that stretch. So they were not a "weak team" for the purposes of this ranking. Your comment applies to things like Iverson fans bringing up his scoring averages in Philly, or Westbrook's triple doubles in OKC. ... Now what you could reasonably criticize is the tiny sample size here. Every halfway decent player in the NBA has been on fire for a week at some point.
“I've had runs where I'd get hot and cool down,” Green said. “My main goal is just to keep building on the hot streaks and be as consistent as possible and affect the game in ways even when I'm not scoring the ball well.” https://www.newsday.com/sports/basketball/rockets-score-wizards-jalen-green-o03929
I lost hope for Jalen but quotes like this on top of this streak has that light at the end of the tunnel flickering for me. Just hope he can start the season next year how he is playing now. But he can give me hope earlier if the Rockets make the play-in and during it he hoops this way
Idk what's convincing him to play like this but I'm damn glad to see it. THIS version of Jalen is absolutely a #1 option.
