    The reason is because the fellas coming up from the minors are producing. And the level of production from the Astros minor league system isn’t the norm, especially when the Astros minor league system is thin according to every publication that grades the health of the major league teams pipelines.

    Striking lightning in a bottle is a wonderful surprise, but to expect it repeated is out of the norm.

    I’m glad the guys stepping into the ML club are playing legitimate big league ball.

    I actually feel that the asking price for Snell is above what any club is willing to offer. The longer this carries on the more likely he lowers his price and goes with the Astros.

    Right. But only paying $15 million this season would have avoided the tax burned that Crane was reluctant to pay.
