Is it better for the Lakers to lose since we have the tie breaker over them?

I agree that Udoka likes vets but the org itself is going to always look for any excuse to promote their young players. Amen is just better than Brooks, his impact on a game is always positive and this is with his garbage shooting.

The only way he grows as a player is getting more responsibility and if we roll into the offseason hot like this its going to be hard to bench him over a journeyman wing that I think its clear he's better than right now.

I think the Rockets would be wise to put more on Amen's plate because if he grows to consistently be an offensive threat he's going to be a monster. His defense is truly something special, its hard to even imagine him becoming a better defender as he ages because he's already elite at it.

Well, we are 4 games back from them and only 3 back from GSW

Good point though--kinda hard to say I guess.

Which of the two has the tougher schedule rest of the way?

If Brooks didn't lose his starting spot with the way he has played I really doubt he gets benched for Amen. We all know he needs to start but that's not gonna happen let's be real.

drafting bari, jalen and jg are no brainer, any GM would do this easy maths, thats why i refuse chanting for stone simply bc he drafting these three.
Sengun and Cam are nice job, that’s something, but should i praise him for that, nah, he signed wrong vets, gambled on wrong honcho and hired a clueless coach who fvcked up our kids 1-3 yrs valuable developlent.
Thats my opinon on Stone, i put it down on here, obviously pretty different from yours, time will tell…sorry aint on same page with yo.

Rox played well this game but I also feel like the refs called it fairly.

If they gave Mitchell the star treatment and Amen and co got in foul trouble it would have been a very different game

My point is you said Stone drafting is like a broken clock. If he drafted no brainers how does that make him a bad drafter? So you are just wrong for that statement Stone drafted no brainers and got good picks with Sengun, Tari and Cam. That's not "broken clock is right twice a day" that's a good drafter.

How did Stone sign wrong vets? FVV, Brooks, Landale, Green are all balling right now and all contribute to mentoring for the rookies.

That's fine if you aren't the on the same page with me, but Stone objectively isn't on the hot seat since you arent the Rockets owner. Only the owner decides if Stone is on the hot seat not you. Everybody saying the Rox beat preseason projections so no way Stone was even on the hot seat. Maybe in your mind he was on the hot seat but that's not the reality.

    In truth, several players did.
But admittedly, Jalen was among them.

I was alreadly fairly satisfied with the improvement. If they can get to being a 40 win team this year after how bad they've been...especially with Eason, Sengun, and Cam missing so much time at this point...I think we might just have something going into 24/25. That and ime should be considered for CoY this year. What a fantastic hire he's been.

You aren’t on a different page. You’re reading from a far worse book.
