It is obvious that DeMeco Ryans knows talent, film and knows what he is doing - especially on the defensive side of the ball. It is refreshing to have someone making decisions that you know is one of the best at what he does. When BOB would go out and target players, I knew it would blow up in the Texans' faces.... with DeMeco I am confident he knows what's up. Also nice for a former Texan to be leading the team and someone that has never had any scandals connected to his name and a young guy with lots of tread on his tires.
Me too!!! Especially if you look at these TE Draft Profile comparisons. Draft Profile Next Gen Stats Bowers 96 Elite Kelce 83 Good Gronkowski 83 Good If those stats are any indication of how good a player might be, the I'd say Bowers is worth trading up for.
They must have a ton of cap space next year. It seems like all these deals have a much higher cap hit next year.
Man sign a safety and corner already. I think they are over estimating their draft capital, they only 2 picks in the top 75. You can’t assume 7th rounder will contribute and even the 4ths will be projects. Still have significant secondary needs.
Not really. Tank is our best reciever and we got him in 3rd. Puma went in 5th. You can get a good reciever in later rounds because we have a QB who can make them good.
Brock Bowers is the obvious name. I always have some concerns with how long a TE will play in the NFL - but Bowers should start day 1 and is viewed as having everything needed to be a pro-bowler, if not an all pro. I personally like Jared Whiley at TCU, but he isn't going in the top 2 rounds.
The NFL system is closer to what Daryl Morey said the NBA system should be: A hard cap with no player maximum.
Tank was a guy who was undervalued due to being undersized and playing for UH. Teams won't always get so lucky
