Outside of the autry signing, definitely disappointed in today’s moves. Hope there are better things on the horizon.

Cesario still moving like the Texans on a rebuild and not coming off a playoff team kinda sucks.

Next year CJ is going to have a per game average of 54/70 500 yards. Pierce 3 carries for 2 yards.

Cool, so I guess we won't be getting a RB.

Odd for a team that likes to run the ball as much as we do.

So fast forward to the end of May during OTA, you believe Dameon Pierce will still be the only RB?

Texans about to start Zack Moss next year after overpaying for him.

I really hope we're saving space for Mixon or Aaron Jones.

:p ........and John Christian Kaʻiminoeauloamekaʻikeokekumupaʻa "Kaʻimi" Fairbairn takes on the roles of both punter and kicker after the Texans let punter Cameron Johnston go.

I’m really struggling here with the strategy. RB for sure. We lost ours and almost all the good ones are off the market. If Aaron Jones doesn’t sign here we really mismanaged this. We needed cap space to sign our free agents only our free agents, the good ones, have all signed with other teams.

I suppose you can argue there’s still premium talent at safety and line backer but we were sold the idea we would invest heavily into the D-Line.

I’m still optimistic that we have a plan to be better than last year but the opportunity at this time certainly appears to be passing us by.

Patrick Queen, Arick Armstead, DJ Reader, Calvin Ridley, Danielle Hunter, and Leonard Williams are some names still left that were interested in.

    Hopefully Aaron Jones too.

The Texans will likely lean on Dameon Pierce, who led the team with 939 rushing yards as a rookie in 2022, but struggled last season with a change in scheme.

Other free-agent options still include former AFC South foes Derrick Henry and Zack Moss, and ex-Packers running back Aaron Jones, who was released Monday by Green Bay.

That would be straight up stupid if they don't sign anyone at RB and could have signed Singletary for less than 6 million. He's way better than Pierce! I'm still hoping for Henry.

When asked for a quote General Manager Nick Caserio said "Well when we didn't get Barkley, lost our Punter, LB, DE, and RB, I knew I had to quickly pivot and focus on has-beens, never- was, and Special Teams. I believe we had a great day"
