    STEREO EQUIPMENT FOR SALE!! (2) 12" POLK AUDIO SUBS/MEMPHIS 1100W AMP/CUSTOM BOX

    Well I tried asking in the feedback section to see if selling items were ok (http://bbs2.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83338). I never got any objections so here it is. If this is against the rules or u object I apologize in advance & u can lock up or delete the thread . But if its not & I get to sell it on here, money is going straight to the tip jar! :)

    I am selling a REALLY nice setup here. It is very loud, & bumps very hard! I've had it for a few months & never really used it, so it is in really good condition! You will recieve the following.



    • Custom made SOLID wood sub box (ready to be carpeted if you would like)

    I can include the cover panels I used in my car if you want them. They were installed in a 2001 Rav4. I have the wiring I used for my car as well.

    PRICE

    For this type of setup with everything would retail over $750. I'm asking for only $450 obo. If buyer is not local to the Houston, TX area, he/she must pay for shipping.

    I am also open to trades. Including nice guitars & amps, nice digital cameras, or just offer here & tell me what u have.

    Are you selling the thing as a set or you will do individual parts...i need a new custom box for my 4runner and i wonder if this one will fit pretty close.

    I'd like to sell it as a set so i wouldnt have to trouble my self to take it apart but seperately i'd sell for the following:

    SUBS - $150

    AMP - $300

    BOX - $50? (i'm just throwing out a price)

    the box was professionally built out of solid wood & not plywood or anything, so its really good quality. & i doubt my RAV4 panels will exactly fit ur 4Runner but i'll give the mto u if u want. or u might even want to repanel the box or u can even carpet it to match. let me know if u are interested. thanks!

    Let me take a guess...your into rap/hip hop music? ;)

    Can you imagine me driving down the road blaring Rush and Geddy Lee's bass lines with this thing? LOL

    If you hated Rush before, then you will really hate Rush if I did that. I would be spreading the hate. It's tempting just for that reason. Nah! Good luck, though.

    On a side note and in no way to derail your sale, did anyone see where they proved that listening to loud music and, specifically, bass can cause your lungs to collapse? I was surprised when I heard that. It makes me wonder how many of you thumpers out there have had this happen to you out there? I must not be keepin it real in my car cause I'm limited to a proprietary Boss system in a Ford car with blown amps and/or speakers. You can't really change anything out for other brands cause it's all integrated. I dread the repair bill on that one. Just another reason to never buy a Ford again.

    Sorry...SPEAKERS FOR SALE PEOPLE!! :D

    haha well yea i used to listen to a lot of hip hop but now hip hop isnt the same anymore so its not as appealing to me anymore. but yea u'd be suprised how loud people play their stereos, i even cant beleive how they could stand it or even keep their hearing. the best thing about this setup is that it has a bass remote that sits under ur steering wheel or wherever u want to mount it so u can adjust the bass buy turning a knob. :)

    I'll trade you a Princeton 18inch LCD monitor. It's new, got it for a computer I was going to build but that plan is now way on the backburner.

    I gotta say $450 is pretty nice for that set up (seems like the amp by itself could come near that price), and I'd prolly jump on it if I didn't already have my own stuff.

    Did you build the box yourself? I went that route, took waaay too long considerign the amount of money saved :( lol

    yuup the amp by itself retails for more than what i'm asking for. its a really good quality amp. pretty high end subs too. & no i didnt build the box myself becaues theres some kind of science u have to know about sound for the subs to sound & fit properly into the box. & i wasnt about to go throguh all that trouble. it was built by a professional car stereo customization store.

    Where was this at..i have my whole system installed already but i need to replace the box and i want to just build something that takes lets room and incorporates my amps in it as well.....If anyone on the board builds custom boxes etc...please let me know cuase i will be willing to get all the materials and pay for someone to build it nice to fit my 4runner....hey ill even give you some free booz if you want at my bar....

    If you want speakers that hit hard and require small volume boxes, look at JL Audios. Their higher end speakers are expensive, but crap you can put their 12's, 15's, etc. into some tiny boxes.
