Guy just got off concussion protocol
He’s still trying to get his bearings straight
    You can see the potential
    He’s gonna be fine

We need a big that can help us NOW!

He is no rookie. Mid December is all the time I would give him.

he's played a lot better and has been a contributor during the last couple wins. maybe the Adams trade light a fire under his ass.

thought it was due to send him some flowers. nice job jock!

It does feel like that ankle sprain threw him off, he was having his worst season ever for no other reason. I doubt we pick up his option at $8m though unless they confidently feel they can solidify his 3pt shot over the summer.

If Steven Adams is on the roster next year, there is no room for Jock Landale.
If he continues the production, it may be the Rockets can trade him instead of just cutting him.

I think we have room on the roster. I'd rather keep Jock than Jeff Green or Boban. The idea of having 2 legs of insurance in case Sengun gets injured is a nice safety blanket.

We do have to add 1-2 draft picks to the roster so we need to keep that in mind.

Keep Jock, Jeff and Adams. Get rid of Boban. We have money for all next year, it's after the extension we have to make more decisions. Unless we can lure a real player, then keep Adam's and get rid of whoever is needed to go

Like what I see lately from Landale. Guy suffered major ankle injury last summer in addition to concussion protocol this season. Looks like he's finally physically comfortable on the court. Ime showing a little more faith in him.

With the red shirt return of Adams and Eason, front court looks pretty solid next year. Landale might just be a vet luxury at the end of the bench, but I would like to see him return.Yes, he's 28 but understands his role.

Need 3pt shooters. Hopefully that can be addressed in the draft.

Below is a break down of the Rockets salary grid going forward. Hopefully the Rockets have moved on from FVV and Brooks by the 25-26 season.

I put the actual link at the bottom, just in case the color scheme below does not show the shadowing of guaranteed, team options, and such.

He's playing so much better. This version is worth keeping. The earlier version definitely wasn't. I'm hoping it's because he's healthy now.

Landale is just a walking contract asset. The combined $17.6 mil of cap room for Jeff Green and Jock should be converted into something else of better value this offseason.

He's definitely overpaid. No doubt. But it's year to year and non guaranteed. It's not 32 million unless he sticks around. But you knew that, right?

Backup pg is still an issue. I was think maybe take a fly on lonzo this summer. Hes an expiring. He was playing his best ball before the injury

I’m all for adding point guard depth, but honestly I’d be happy with most anything vs the status quo. We’ve got a lot of wasted cap and wasted roster spots. Boban’s $3 mil should also be reappropriated. Can you imagine taking that combined $20 mil from Jock, Jeff Green and Boban, and getting a Gary Trent Jr.?
