I would take both Jalen and Jabari over Alpi for shooting free throws at any point of the game cuz they're better free throw shooters. They're young, it's so natural that they choke right now, but they won't be choking a few years from now when they're playing their 400th+ career game and attempting their 1000th+ free throws.
At the new practice facility, might I suggest when they practicing free throws, one of the assistants bring out a boombox and play crowd cheering/jeering audio to simulate real game pressure.
If Sengun can learn how to make a three pointer (which he has) then he can learn how to make a free throw this off-season. There are guys who will never be good free throw shooters because they are not good shooters in general, but we all knoq Sengun is capable of 76-80% free throws. Cam is same situation….wayyyy too good of a shooter to be at 60% free throws. Just takes the right mechanics and shooting 1000 free throws a day in the offseason to get there. Time and effort!
Cam feels like shoots just for the sake of shooting at the ft line. Kid doesn't even take a breath and look at the rim just shoots it. He should slow down a bit.
