True, they are pretty close in age. Wemby is closest in age with Amen among our players--both just turned 20. I wouldn't blame any Rockets fan for choosing Alpi, but I can still take a step back and look at it as I think the rest of the league would do.

I am Turkish and an Alperen fan, but still early to say franchise player and l am writing down this after a 45 points , magic performance. He will be an allstar player, after last night, it is clear that he is unstoppable when his team mates reach his high basketball iq level and vision. But one or two more years is needed for other personel developments in 3 ptshot and some other defensive areas, and then l believe he will be franchise player. At 24 you have your franchise player, not bad huh
The thing is when he is on he is on. Like when he feels it he turns into a legit superstar against anyone. AD, Wemby, Lebron, Jokic. Has that x factor that superstars have always had. Having a guy who is unguardable is a luxury even in NBA. Now imagine if we have a guard version of him. Murray is kinda that guy when Murray is feeling it everything goes in. Turns into a complete superstar in playoffs. Finding that guy should be our priority. Like imagine if Murray was here that's a 6th seed team.
Great individual game. But it's clear the Spurs are tanking & had no intention on winning this game. Sengun needs to do this against teams trying to win
he is never gonna give you 50 is loading… the rate at which the goal posts are moving is the ultimate sign of how much Sengun improved this year Once again Sengun breaks another goal post much earlier than expected, and against wemby in some spectacular fashion. Go alpi! Sky is the limit. And get ready for more double, triple teams.
Spurs were not intending to win? So they played their superstar with injury whole 4th quarter. Are you stoopid? Alperen is the only 3 rd player in NBA history making this stats in this games, it is not only an individual game, it was a master class from our franchise player. Do not undervalue his performmance and situation.
Sengun's physical presence was set early as he just bullied Wemby and he had that burst/quickness like early part of season Now we just need Bari to break out his small slump and re-join the wave
This may one of those blueprint games for other teams. Accept that Wemby will block a few shots and keep bullying him.
