[RIP] Richard Lewis, Comedian & ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Star, Dies at 76

Oh yea...that show was on right after "Mad About You".


Sorry to hear about Richard. I liked his spiel. He was likeable. Never heard of the sitcom, though, which is odd.

 

He looked really frail on Curb last week.

 

He`s looked rough the last few seasons, hard to believe him and Larry David are the same age, I guess some of us age better than others, he was a funny dude, and he will be missed......RIP Sir

 

TBH, if you stood them both up together, I would guess LD was older due to his hair.

76 is a good run for a celebrity boomer who lived through the 1970s party scene and Covid. Most boomers I know who beat the **** out of their bodies for decades with bad health, drugs and/or alcohol and tobacco are dropping like flies in their 60s. Of course most of those people were very overweight and ignored the warning signs but there are a couple who weren’t fat.

 

I think I remember reading he had a bad cocaine addiction at some point too.

 

He'd been dealing with Parkinson's for the past few years
