Yeah, I've seen him go in Top 12 in some mocks. If we could move back 3-5 spots and pickup an add'l 3rd or 4th that would be great. There should be some really good players at the end of the first and top half of the 2nd. I wish we had 2 picks in the Top 40, because I think we could fill 2 of our 3 needs at DL, CB and WR. I'm afraid the guys I really like will be gone by #59.

Edgerrin Cooper LB Texas A&M Height: 6 - 3 | Weight: 230 lbs | RAS: N/A Linebackers who naturally, and consistently, make plays, are impossible to replicate. They can run a 4.7 40-yard dash and still be valuable because they process information at lightning speed and are innate playmakers. Edgerrin Cooper is that player, but with outstanding athleticism and length. That length allows him to wrangle ball carriers with an incredibly high hit rate. He knifes through blockers and consistently makes plays around the line of scrimmage, while also providing a bump as a pass rusher. Dalton Miller This prospect report was making me pass on Cooper, but he ran a 4.51 40 at the combine. He's back on my list because that is an acceptable speed in the NFL. 4.7 is not for a linebacker.
Caserio could pick at 1-23 then trade up into the top 40 to fill another need. Then fill the other need in FA. I would also add RB/S to the list of needs.
We don't have the excess draft capital for that move. We'd have to give up 59 and a minimum of the 25 2nd round pick and probably more to get a top 40.
