Nah, nothin under 6’.. and honestly, o would rather say 6’2-6’3.. but I think I’d make an exception for worthy or Legette.
I’m not saying it because I don’t think he’ll pan out. I love Dell. But we don’t want 2 of them. We want one that can stretch the defense, be a big red zone target. We already have a Dell. Don’t want a Nico clone either, we need someone with speed that can also separate and be a big target.
I, too, would like prime Andre Johnson on this team NE, KC, etc...had some pretty good success with a couple of midgets running routes. Nico (or his future replacement) + a very good TE is all you need
I think you’re stuck in a 10 year old mindset respectfully. 40 time and height don’t tell nearly as much as turning on the tape and seeing how well they run routes, get out of their brakes, catch the ball. The game of football isn’t played in a straight line, if you look at the top 10 receivers this year in production, they have several varying heights and 40 times.
With the Texans meeting with all these DE.... They're planning to draft one and not resigning Greenard are they?
O I agree. That is not the only WR size that works. I just mean diversity. We have a 6’4 4.5 guy, a 5’8 4.5 guy. Both great at running routes. I just want a 6’ or taller guy that can take the top off the defense. I think that makes our route tree the most complete and will open up the under routes for the shifty 5’8 guy. We don’t need 2 5’8 guys running slants across each other.
I cannot agree with a take more. If you want to go OL in the 1st it's telling on yourself that you don't know our roster, cap, or investments made at that spot.
I hope so...really think the Texans should keep Greenard and look at DT with first pick...or CB if they sign a DT (like Jones).
