LOL, not anymore it's not. Also, you are overblowing draft time rumors to justify the Rockets passing a clearly better player for a bust.
Maybe, maybe not. Mobley prefers to paly next to another big and Sengun certainly needs to play next to a defensive big for the reasons we saw last night. If we went back in time and drafted Mobley and Sengun, the Rockets are a better team today.
Also, Westbrook has MUCH better guard skills.....the issue is that he's a moron who far too often refuses to stick to being a distributor which he's actually really good at, and instead he decides to shoot his team out of games. If you gave Westbrook a fully functional brain....or just the ability to shoot 3's at a respectable rate, he'd be one of the greatest players ever. The talent is there, he's just too dumb to do the things that make for good basketball. It was kind of similar with Dwight Howard. If he stuck to the things he was good at, he'd still be dominating in the NBA....he just instead wanted to do the things he was bad at.....and felt that it was demeaning for him to stick to the things he was good at.
I welcome Jalen being benched so if it actually happens then great. Udoka mulled a lineup change before the all star break so it's pretty clear they see the writing on the wall. You don't make that public unless there's something obviously wrong. He just didn't pull the trigger. I highly doubt Udoka or the front office really think Jalen is a part of the team's future anymore. Fingers crossed anyway.
This. I think you are on to something. Definitely feels like he wants out. Expect a JG4 to Lakers next year. All I know is, if he plays better in LA wit Lebron, that is going to be a serious indictment of Ime's coaching ability and the Rockets organization.
this is really the root of it all. stone values size and athleticism over BBIQ and competitiveness. All of his draft picks tell that story Lebron couldn’t even play with Westbrook but he’s supposed to make Green better? Give me a break
quite sad that mobley supporters are still pining for the man to this day. Man didn't want to play for us b/c of kpj, move on.
It is not even those that were super confident pre draft, there are people that were extremely confident in Jalen a month ago and still talking down on people making reasonable conclusions with the data we had in front of us after 2 & 1/3 seasons. It honestly looks really bad because the teams that are known to have good GMs, like Toronto seemed to have made the best choices that some real diligence would have maybe changed things. The fact that Toronto went w Barnes and it being a bit of a shock to media and casuals makes me think it was not bad luck, but that we don't have the right people in our front office making these decisions.
A firebable offense is tanking for 5-6 years and not having a direction. We already have a direction in year 3. Give Stone a raise
I had a good laugh when the image popped up 'Dynamic Duo' And showed Fred and Jalen's stats for tonight's game. I didn't think parts of dynamic duos got benched for the entirety of the fourth quarter. Inb4 a JOF blurts out Ime brought him in for one play for his amazing clutch free throw shooting - see he's amazing!
