Extremely pathetic that Jalen lashes out at some dude nobody has ever heard of. Dbag reporters exist everywhere (not that Roosh is one, I literally know nothing about him) Imagine how Green would feel if somebody as well known as SAS or Skip Bayless commented on him? Jalen needs to go. He has overstayed his welcome.
He has played in 26 away games this season, and he shoots threes with 26.6 percent, which is a terrible rate. I am trying to be positive about Jalen Green, but if the team's shooter plays with these percentages, there is 0 chance of him being successful. https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/jalen-green-home-away-split-this-season https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/jabari-smith-home-away-split-this-season This is Jabari, it is also terribly bad, 42% at home and 27% away.
It has been corroborated by others. Check out the video below around the 2:30 mark. There are at least two people putting their reputation on the line over this.
I could ask the same question back, what is Green's qualification as an uber reliable and great player.....
Addition by subtraction. I rooted for him and wanted him to succeed but people like him are bad for team synergy and locker room vibes. Hope he figures out his life because he appears to be on a bad path. KPj was an absolutely terrible influence.
Stop blaming others for Jalen being a PUTZ he is his own man.....he chose to write that flame to Roosh, and no KPJ was around to blame it on. DD
Jalen would have gotten better advice from reading CF than reading Twitter. For example, if he paid attention to DD, he would have demanded to be traded in his rookie year.
Both things can be true. KPj was a cancer on the court and off. Jalen should be better but chooses to surround himself with bad influences. Wood gone. KPj gone. Silas gone. Two heads left from that miserable era.
The org chose to do it....it is on them... Jalen just isn't that good at basketball and he has been lied to his entire life, he is having a hard time dealing with reality for the first time....and he is failing at it. DD
The real question is that clearly Jalen is sulking and isn't playing hard all the time, Ime is tired of pointing it out...how will he respond? This choice could define his career. DD
Jalen's problem is he has lived off of his athletic ability and he was never thought the finer points of playing basketball. I still say, up until last yr, EVERYONE thought he had Superstar potential. What's changed??? The style of play, the coach and his PG. Thats a lot for a 22yr old.....PATIENCE PEOPLE!
In a perfect world we wouldn’t need players unions and contracts and we could be patient forever. It’s not a perfect world. There’s a timeline here, and we’re pretty far into it before big decisions need to be made. Jalen will never miss a meal in his life. If he has a good team around him, his grandkids will be fine. Jalen will be just fine regardless
Everyone really? He had some potential.....but superstar is Top 5 in the league..... Everyone but Bill Simmons I suppose. Ceiling was Top 25 ish last year for me and that was with him stat padding on a historically bad team. He woke up and was not on a historically bad team ....no longer. He was always below average at fundamentals but peeps forgot because he volume scored a lot. Below average shooter at shooting guard. Percentages at times were horrible.
Wow so Jackson also says Jalen was upset with him back in January, voicing frustration etc.. Man I hope he matures and learns from this, stop giving af what these dudes say focus on your game and continue growing
Bench is ass for a few games. See how he responds. If it is positive, then bring him off the bench. If he continues to do positive things then maybe he can be salvaged. I personally think, this is going to end badly in the 2nd half of the season.
