all those trades should have been done as it happened (Westbrook/Tucker/Gordon/Porter...), it's just Stone almost OVERPAID every FA signing and almost every trade he handled.
Drummond or Olynyk would seem like ideal fits if we want somebody to bridge the gap, but maybe the cost is too high, I don't know.
I like Steven Adams, but I’m not giving our front office credit for spending 3 second rounders on a guy who won’t be in full form coming off injury for maybe half a season next yr. It’s fair to say that two of the 2nds we gave up had very low value. And yes, its better than not addressing the position at all, but it’s not an example of above average GMing.
How is that even fair to pass judgment when you haven't even seen the dude play? A lot of posters here were saying the FVV and Dillon Brooks signings were gonna blow up in Stone's face I haven't seen a single poster walk back and admit he was wrong.
