Would like to talk about colour physics/colour chemistry/tristimulus values but will be boring subject for the others. Hope one day we can discuss over a beer.

From a distance yes but more "venduto e cornuto" when you know them. My former boss owned the biggest Italian club Juventus and they were not happy when they learned that I would support only red-coloured teams: Genclerbirligi,Houston Rockets, Nottingham Forest, AC Milan,...

Green is actually my fave color happens to be the colors of Rapid and Panathinaikos. But I dislike their Ultras

I am a moderate fan, not really into extremism.

Red is fine with me, I also like blue and mostly other colors that are not pink or violet.

I have had some sympathies towards socialism, I think Americans really dislike socialism, color red.

I have seen lots of Green colour dressed Austrians in Klagenfurt Sundays. They were not attractive, kind of anachronistic.

Red and black are best.Red and White acceptable.

Totally agree - just pushing back against the narrative that FVV and Brooks are somehow better players than they actually are vs the rest of the league because of how much better they are presently than our super young guys.

Saw this a lot the last few years with people thinking KPJ or Tate are better than they actually were because the context of how bad the team was overall made them look sooo much better by comparison. In the grand scheme of things, FVV and the dialed in Dillon Brooks are both NBA level starters FOR SURE but if we are talking about putting together the rosters for the top 4-6 teams in all of the NBA(aka the "contenders"), your team probably doesn't make that short list with Brooks or FVV as starters on those teams unless you have one(or two) of those "all time greatest" guys who tilt odds in their favor so heavily (like vintage Lebron, Luka, etc.) that they can play at a disadvantage and it doesn't matter. It's why guys like Mario Chalmers have title rings as an NBA starter despite being unable to be an NBA starter for ANY other team the day after Lebron left. They are realistically top 60-80 dudes with FVV the better of the two but trending down.

How does Steven Adams fit into this equation next season?

The peculiar thing is both FVV and Dillon ran out of time and favors with their respective old teams.....the reason why they were available for starters.

They needed a change of scenery....and most likely if the Rockets did not pick them up, another below average team likely would have.

Asking price tough for real contenders.

Offers would have been made, sure.
But not sure many would have given them the money we did.

I forgot to add, their asking price was pretty high for guys that their old coaches were not high on......

Contenders would be more cautious with players that are not real All Stars but also not cheap role players.

I give you Kelly Oubre, formerly known as someone who would have gotten 20 million but because of circumstances (being on a bad team) he only got the minimum....

People would be all over him for the minimum, but 20 million and multiple years, not so much.

As has been explained a thousand times the money is not an issue. Dillion is up and down and FVV is hurt. Our current tailspin started when Tari, Jabari, and Dillion got hurt around the same time. It is unreasonable that we would have the sufficient depth on such a young team to overcome the extended loss of two starters and your sixth man.

I was commenting to the point that another team would have signed them if we hadn't.

The true United States flag (cherry tree) was pure red originally and the Continental flag was red with green canton/tree, the cherry tree now has a 5-point star in the center that represents the 5 Points of Light

So the actual aboriginal Americans (pre-columbian / 1828 definition) are very fond of the color red, its part of their ancestral fabric

The true Americans really dislike dogmatic versions of social/commie etc that came forth from the Rockefeller funded board of education of early 1900's and alien immigrants that wandered and settled from foreign lands (romans / roamer) going along with the dogma agenda

I think they added Adams for two reasons, the number one reason is an expiring next year that they can move. Secondarily they added him because he fits a lot of the Rockets needs from a 5. He is very physical, very strong and active, sets great screens, can flash to the basket and he has a very high basketball IQ and his effort is consistent. There are concerns that he doesn’t stretch the court and isn’t good from the line - but if the focus will be defense, he fits the bill very well.

I expect that there will be an emphasis on Sengun and Thompson and Green (if he is back) shooting better from the perimeter.

So Adams is attractive for a number of reasons.
