Actually ALL of our top prospects have at least 1 major flaw in their games! It will be a question of which one(s) can improve/minimize theirs the best.
Jabari and Jalen are sure fire busts. I think Amen will be very good so will Cam. Tari and Sengun are also a hit.
I guess it's "not fair" or whatever without giving him a chance to finish out one full non-tanking season, but I am not sold on his roster building/asset management skills. I like our group of young talent, I think we did okay in the draft. But I've never once been thrilled with any of Stone's free agent or trade moves. FVV and Brooks are fine, their value for their contracts and fit on the team make sense. But not exactly what I would call a "steal" either. I also suspect getting those guys in particular was more directed by what Ime wanted than some long-laid master plan by the front office. I think we're at the stage now where we could really use a canny wheeler/dealer type to polish up the roster and get us ready for hopefully contending in a few years. So I wouldn't shed any tears if we fired Stone now, although I doubt it will happen.
Well I know a fair few expected lock down defense, and for Jalen to go for 60 because Sengun wasn't holding him back.
Whew if this is his usage...I'd be OK with that. I'll say this...he's not sitting on the bench with an injured labia.
yea. i'll give sengun and cam a pass because they have exceeded expectations but if Sengun's defense stays like this, he has to play the 4 and Adams the 5 which leaves Jabari on the bench where he belongs.
Bey definitely acted like Sengun was defending him that second quarter. Who was guarding him though? Oh...
