A team's IDENTITY If you look at most team's best player, that team tend to take on that player's identity. Jokic - Denver is a good offensive team, that pass well. Embiid - Philly is a good team but never is fully healthy and doesnt do as well in the playoffs. Tatum - Boston is good but not great. Has everything but just not good enough. LeBron - Lakers are old and fading Curry - GS is old and fading Foxx - Sac is a good offensive team but nothing else Edwards - Minny is a beast and so is Anthony Edwards Halliburton - Indy is a good 3pt shooting team and so is Halliburton. Which brings me to the Rockets. Most people say Sengun is our best player and if you look at this team and from what I see, it spells it out of who they are Sengun - Rockets as a team are good in the paint offensively but weak defensively in the paint and can not shoot the 3pt shot Moving forward, do we need to go through Jabari or Jalen to change our teams identity?
How about Amen....Enough of this. They'll be more clarity, as time passes. You're just throwing gasoline on the same ole BS.
Not-so-cleverly-disguised anti-Sengun thread Do we need to go through Jabari or Jalen to change our identity?
You say the team is weak in the paint defensively - based on what? If this is true then why are the rockets 6th in the league in paint points allowed per game? You say this team is good in the paint offensively - again, based on what? The rockets rank 17th in points in the paint. That's not very good. It seems like you have this backwards.
you opened my eyes… Now I get why the Nats didn’t trade Bridges. Bridges —> Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge. Brooklyn is all about bridges…
The OP just likes making the same thread over and over and over again. Hes just not intelligent enough to converse with
Building around Sengun since he’s shown the most growth and is closest to being an all star. If you are buying Amen long term, then the complimentary player emphasis has to be on shooting. I think most of us feel pretty good about Jabari and Cam’s shooting long term. Tari has quietly shown good shooting promise, but he does so many other things his value to our team is enormous. I don’t buy Jalen as a long term fit with the shooting weakness. I’d like to add more shooting and perimeter D around Sengun.
Yes, I definitely want my franchise to have the identity surrounding a shooting guard who is not a good shooter. Sign me up twice for that.
You've been pedaling the Sengun doesnt play defense narrative for awhile now and as I pointed out before these posts dont come with stats because the stats dont back your bullshit.
OP needs to STFU already and get his OCD in check…it’s like this dude has intrusive thoughts about Sengun 24/7 and then feels compelled to act on them with all these regurgitated, bullsh*t threads that aren’t saying a damn thing either get on some meds or resume your current ones
If u are gonna sht on a player u dislike please try to use data that actually backs your stance instead of just making sht up. Repeating nonsense over countless threads is quite pointless
Either we draft one, we develop one or we trade for one. Alpi is our best, Cam may be our best, Amen may be our best....we just got to wait and see. DD
