You have to love he's had double digit sacks the last 4 years and he hasn't missed a game in 7 years (114 games). That's pretty remarkable, but he's only 6'1" about 240, so he's pretty small for a 4-3 DE. I'm guessing he'd be more of a pass rush specialist for us, but I'm not super familiar with his game. Maybe the worst of our 4th rd picks this year and a 6th next year. Would give Demeco another chess piece for his defense.
This would mean giving up assets in a trade AND revamping his contract to $35M+/yr with a giant signing bonus. Forget it. He'll probably end up like Lamar did last year except he might not get a new contract from the Eagles.
We need to look at what Demeco did with greenard and Harris before we use up our salary cap and daft assets for a guy like this.
