Thrilling isn’t the word I would use. Suspicion confirming is one way to describe it in terms of why the Rockets front office blows opportunity after opportunity to accumulate assets. Iko seems to believe in what they are doing though to a certain extent. Maybe they are convicting enough in person with him to create that confidence (some would say arrogance) and that’s why he approaches these topics in the way he does but for the fans removed from the situation it’s obvious to see their flaws… and they are counterintuitive with what he and they say their ultimate goal is which is to acquire a superstar and go from there. Because you actually need a boatload of assets to be competitive in this trade market. So yeah I do recommend skipping to when Iko comes on. It confirms a lot of our suspicions.
