Are we expecting too much??

I look at our roster and from my perspective, I just do not see a frachise player CURRENTLY. So, Im asking are we expecting too much from our players in the interim?

When I think of a Franchise Player, I think of Akeem, Barkley, Jordan, Shaq, Magic, Bird, etc. Players who came out of college and immediately dominated, stars. They didnt have to develop a shot or work on their defense, they were a force from DAY 1.

And I must admit, I am hard on Sengun because people call him a franchise player....I don't see it! Jalen....I don't see it, same for Jabari or Tari. I see good players but franchise, No way! And Im sure Ime will say the same.

However, I do see players with potential to become a franchise player. But are we expecting too much right now 19, 20, 21 and 22yr old players?

I said at the start of the season that 30 wins should be the goal. Anything past that is a bonus

We were tanking and the team lacked talent. It's not like we had all these franchise pg chilling on the bench if KPJ wasn't playing it was Daishen Nix so I dunno why him being the starter is a big deal. People here just like to over react and make mountains out of molehills.

And to be fair to KPJ while he wasn't franchise material he was actually serviceable and would have been better than Reggie Bullock.

at some point i woulda agreed with all that... but now we have the benefit of hindsight being 20/20... and we now know any minutes put into kpj were a waste...

Tanking with Dignity would be the term I would have preferred over what the Rockets did with Nix and KPj.....but alright.

The Rox preferred the Mindless Tanking approach over Smartly managing your tank approach....
