Authorities identified the men as White, 24, of Denver; Anthony O. Butler, Jr., 21, of Detroit; and Kyle A. Doman, 25, of Bowie, Md. White averaged 7.5 points and 2.3 rebounds with the Nuggets last season, his second year in Denver. He also played one season in Detroit. Police pulled over a sports utility vehicle carrying the three and found an unspecified number of guns and a knife inside, Secret Service spokesman Tom Mazur said. Each was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm -- a felony. All were being held pending an initial court appearance Monday.
Just cause dude is in the NBA and makes millions of dollars he needs to grow up? Isn't that the point of making it like that, the guys never have to grow up. I guess Anthony O. Butler, Jr., 21, of Detroit; and Kyle A. Doman, 25, of Bowie, Md need to grow up as well. File this one under the "Who cares?" category for me, as I do not see why someone with unique talents has to grow up when others act the same way. And another thing ... Bartender, where is my drink?!?!?!!
Grow up? I really can't see how anyone can blame this kind of acts on being immature. To me it's just sheer stupidity.
Hmm...pattern? Eddie Griffin - 7th pick in 2001 draft (1 year at Seton Hall) Rodney White - 9th pick in 2001 draft (1 year at Charlotte) Zach Randolph - 19th pick in 2001 draft (1 year at Mich St)
Exactly. I'm still very immature for my age-27-but I knew when I was about 10 that you shouldn't fire guns off like that. Idiots.
It's just like when Keon Clark got busted for drugs right before his Free Agency offseason. He was probably going to get one of those ludicrous 40/50 million dollar contracts that they hand out to 7fters that can block a few shots and have learned to tie their shoelaces. But he ended up playing for MLE money or less. Then he got injured, and now he's looking for a decent deal again.
