That was more of a response to the comment he had not missed. All GMs make mistakes. I am still mad at Morey for drafting Joey Dorsey over Deandre Jordan. Stone knew Sengun would be good, and He moved up to get him, so massive props for that.
Personally do think Garuba and Tyty would have been serviceable had we retained them. Morey def had more screw ups taking Donte Greene over Nicholas Batum, Clint Capela over Jokic, Marcus Morris over De Andre Jordan and Dorsey over Jordan.
To be fair- Donte Greene led to Kevin Martin trade which led to Harden trade. I agree on the rest tho
Pretty sure Batum would hjave been a better piece than Kmart for the Harden trade lol Looking back, it was easy to see why Morey kept trading away our picks its cuz after early successes PatPat and Aaron Brooks he kept getting busts like Donte Greene, Chinanu Onuaku, Terrence Jones, Royce White, Joe Chee, Sam Dekker, etc. Aside from Clint and Chandler Parsons don't recall anybody we drafted who stuck to help the team during the Harden era. Montrezl Harrell too but he was quickly packaged for Cp3
So Stone's last partners were Kleimann from the Grizz, Presti obviously, Winger of the Clips, Landry Fields of Atlanta....etc. Presti is in his own stratosphere and Morey is pretty proactive......
