That's why i mentioned unlock. He shot 33-82 from 3 at UTA so he's got potential to work with The way he plays defense and hustles is definitely a KS type. He reminds me of a fresh Nate Hinton flying around but just more athletic
I think Shead is the best PG that UH has ever had. If the Coogs can make shots against a very good (whoever) defense...UH can win the whole damn thing.
Yep, it's gonna be nuts Duke, Carolina, Kansas are the greatest home courts. eta: wow, I just looked at the schedule UT/TCU UH/KU Duke/UNC ISU/Baylor and Tenn/UK backtobacktobacktoback
I think Rob Williams was the best they have ever had - but that was 40 years ago that he averaged 25/6/3 as a 19 year old and high on cocaine and beer.
He played three I think - but the third year he was already missing games, etc. He was on the same team that had made the Final Four with Dream and Clyde, etc. He was addicted to drugs before he stepped on the UH campus supposedly. There was a guy that played at TSU at the same time that Williams played at UH, and years ago he used to talk about Williams using heroin every day, and then before games or practice he would use cocaine to try and get up for playing ball.
The Mickey Mantle Cocktail: painkillers and alcohol to get down at night, amphetamines to get up for the game, every game
Future note for March Madness: If Houston winds up as the top overall seed in the South Region, it will wind up playing Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games at American Airlines Center in Dallas.
Opening lines for these games. UT/TCU (UT +5.5) UH/KU (UH -1.5) Duke/UNC (Duke +4.5) ISU/Baylor (ISU +1.5) Tenn/UK (Tenn -1.5)
Imagine sitting in Hofheinz Pavillion 20 years ago watching the Coogs lose to Centenary in front of 500 fans and a magic genie appearing and telling you this would happen:
