Coulibaly is only selected because he is Wemby's pal.....what the hell.

They had this roster prepared probably by November......

Yeah - it’s a problem. Some players care but it won’t impact their future plans- but for some it really is a big deal.

The TC just sucks. Hopefully it sells out and fans actually show up when the Rockets start winning.

I can’t stand TF - but I wouldn’t blame him if he started talking about a new stadium… the TC is bad.

They should do an extensive remodel, not a new stadium. They're not going to get a better location than they already have and I despise owners who try to get taxpayers to foot the bill on a new building.

They could build it in the same location. I don’t like owners that demand a new stadium ever 20 years or so either - but doesn’t mean they won’t do it. I honestly don’t know what the political climate in Houston is for a new stadium. A big part of the issue is the lower bowl.

Not saying he's going to be Ant but you do realize players improve aspects of their game. His handles aren't static

I love the guy, but he doesn’t have the lateral shiftiness either - it’s not just handles. He is a straight line freight train - that doesn’t work well against a set high-level defense, which is why he normally passes off if he gets it while guarded at the 3-point line.

Given he is a great shooter , a good jumper, and so strong, it would be great if he could develop a back-down/turn-around game like Kobe. That plus 3s plus attacking close outs plus transition will generate plenty of efficient points even if he never develops a top-of-the-key drive game like Ant has (or like Jalen, at the risk of being flamed by the Bobb-iot).

The new Mayor is already staring at a potential deficit once the Covid $$ stops, so I doubt a new stadium will be coming anytime soon.

Those moves are added in the postseason, the next guy who is still available after Kobe might be Derozan.....

Work out with him, Bron, Kawhi and KD.

My company actually just submitted an RFP with Harris County for a major project. I won’t say which organization but I will say that based on discussions with the stakeholders yes they do all suspect that Mayor Whitmire (hah almost said mayor WHITMORE) and the new leadership that’s coming in as CEO etc. are going to be focused more on law enforcement, and what I would call human capital projects.

So whatever Toyota Center revitalization that is going to happen I’m assuming will be all private /TF/corporate sponsor/ bank funded if anything happens at all over the next 4 years.

But who knows. Based on my discussions with folks they all are bracing from the new mayor to shift a lot of projects towards more of those human capital priorities.
