Who all is going to Reliant tomorrow for the Coogs vs. the Owls?

It should be a lot of fun, there'll be a ton of us tailgating beforehand, bring the family and enjoy a great gameday.

    Kickoff at 4 pm.

    GO COOGS!

I'm a student at UH and will be there- I got $100 bucks down on the coogs with a spread of -4 - so we better win by more than 4pts.!

I'll also be at the tailgate. GO COOGS!:D

I wish I knew where to place a bet in. :(

That would cover the cost of my tuition!

So how much would you get in return on your 100 if the coogs won?

Well when I bet the moneyline was -105 meaning every $1.05 bet wins $1. So I bet $105 and if they win by more than 4 pts. I win $100.

This is my first time betting on a sport, I can't wait for Sunday.

I used sportsbook.com, and put $50 on UH at -3.5. I did a straight wager.

Yea, I'm what they called a semi-professional gambler. I funded most of my college tuition through betting on various sports. My bread and butter sport was, and always will be baseball.

The hardest sport to bet on was basketball. Then came football.
I stopped betting full time recently as I have been working full time what my friend's call a "real" job. It just got too stressfull.

Anyways, I really dont bet much on college football at all. But a few of my buddies who run local bookie shops and other professional gamblers said this Houston game was a cinch.

I got some good money on it.

Some of the better sites, I have run into through my years of experience would include, www.vipsports.com, www.betus.com and www.sportsbook.com

Betus.com gives you a forty percent initial deposit bonus, whereas most other online sites give you about 10-20%

    Good luck to us all.

Does anyone know if this game is going to be broadcast on any sports network channel (such as FoxSports SW)? Unfortunately I'm not going to the game but I sure would like to watch the Coogs steamroll the Owls!!

    GO C:cool::cool:GS!

It should be on 790 AM in Houston.

Otherwise you have to buy a radio plan on Yahoo sports.

Rice ended last season pretty hot, but have had a lot of trouble against the Coogs lately. I'm not optimistic about Rice's chances. I made the 'emotional hedge' bet by putting money on the Coogs to cover. I honestly think it will be another blow out like last year.

It's amazing how nearly everytime I bet, which isn't too often, that I end up doing the same thing. Human nature, I guess.

No I am not losing money why would I take a bet for a loss? If I win i get $100 + the $105 back that i originally bet. Whenever you bet and win you always get your original money back +whatever you won.
