Pretty much what’s already been said. Clearly a gifted coach. The culture change in Houston is night and day. He’s an elite defensive coach. Offensively he’s not the best x’s & o’s coach, but I like the emphasis on ball movement. What he’s already exceptional at, you can’t teach. And it’s clear he’s a big draw for players wanting to come here.

It was risk and opportunity for him......I think if he ended up in Detroit or somewhere else, he might have some success but not the success he would have here.

He's been a great coach and our young players seem to really respond to him. His style gives him the gravitas to allow players to actually earn minutes and create a internally competitive atmosphere with no-one above the law so to speak.

On the x's and o's only a small number of complaints compared to what silas was doing. I definitely didn't like his decision not to foul at the end of the game with a 3pt lead. Essentially an automatic win became a loss. Hopefully he doesn't do that again. The other thing is we mostly haven't responded well to zone defenses. Our offense is well above average if you don't count plays vs. the zone and especially the 2-3 zone. Box+1, Diamond+1 we seem to have figured out.

Truth be told he is light years overall superior to silas. Of course some of silas might have just been pure tank maneuvers so unknown if we saw his full capability.

Everyone is improving. That's all Udoka is accountable for right now. We are still losing, but winning is a long process. It doesn't come overnight. Three years before there should be any high expectations. Our talents have to be developed. Accept small improvements each week. And we are seeing that.

    Trust in Udoka.

I think Ime can turn Green into a more productive player than he was his first 2 years.......

Superstars do not grow on trees, the Hawks had first hand experience with Trae Young who is nice but not quite a superstar.....and gave up Doncic.

Yeah…I think the Superstar label is thrown around too easily these days. A lot of these guys are not Superstars, just good players.
