Alright, he dropped 38, what can we get for him now? On a night when the whole team is hot as the sun it can't be expected to last.
Realistically as much as the GARM likes to knee-jerk, I don't think 1.5 good games (because he sucked in the second half against Portland) moves the needle much at all. If he puts together a few more nice games like this before the deadline maybe it affects his trade value. On the other hand, maybe it also makes the front office reconsider trading him, if they were even considering it in the first place.
Whatever he is worth, take it! Then use a couple of 2nds to bring in Grimes as a 3nD guy to backup Whitmore. It is time.
If you look at the redraft of his draft year, Jalen is #8. So i think he should be worth more than a mid first rounder.
How much I would love to see Jalen bring the heat like he has against the Lakers. The shot can come and go, but the energy and attacking should always be there.
They've had this guy for 3 years, they should know by now, he's a consistently inefficient player. It's time to move on because you have his replacement already on the team.
He is going to have a nice stretch of games I suppose, might be a very late breakout game.....we shall see. Credit where credit is due but we shall overcome. Lol Brooklyn is winning again as well.
If he breaks out at age 21, does it really count? How many years left do you really have in the NBA after age 21? Too old.
Well, I guess I feel grateful not seeing your majesty when he is playing below average ball ..... I guess you got your majestic rest! Stay hydrated man!
He may have increased his value to the late first level with recent play. Time to trade the fools gold now while it is really sparkling if any gullible GM's get gold fever over his recent play before he regresses back to the mean.
