I want to finally settle the contentious debate. I think we should focus on non-polarizing players in our roster, like Amen. I have a high regard for Sengun, but many of our fans are expressing concern about the team's progress with a center who lacks rim protection and has defensive lapses. Contending teams tend to have strong rim protectors, based on historical evidence. It may be necessary for Stone to make a strategic decision in order to restore our team to its former glory.

We can reunite and pledge to never disrespect each other again by putting the Sengun debate behind us. My only desire is to promote peace and goodwill among our fans.

I agree. Nba is a professional business.

If Sengun cannot protect the rim, trade him and buy a rim protector. We are one step away from the play offs. With this simple adjustment, Rockets will be a play off team.

I'm not eager to see him traded. But with his value potentially at an all-time high, this could be an opportunity to get the best return that fits Ime's vision for our roster. Unfortunately, Sengun doesn't fit our game plan, and the debate surrounding him has polarized our community like never before. It is my wish for a return to the respectful and friendly atmosphere we once had.

You don't trade Sengun for a rim protector. You find a rim protector to play beside him. Hopefully one that can shoot FTs.

That's an alternative, but how do we address the ongoing debate about him? I believe that as long as Sengun remains with the team, there will be tension among our fans.

"Sengun doesn't fit our game plan"
    I do not agree.
If Sengun didn't fit our game plan, he wouldn't play with 21-22 points average, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists average in his third year. An average that Amen (the Suppahstarr) cannot dream of even in his wildest dreams.

However, we must have peace and tranquility among our fan base. Also, you are right. Sengun's trade value is really at the top. In this case, I think the Rockets' best option is to release Sengun to see his value on the free market.

Simple solution. You get a big that can play center and punish the opposing attacks at the rim while sliding Sengun to the 4 (he's getting more confident at shooting the 3). Slide Smith to the wing ala Durant. Jalen, replace for a 2 way guard and pray Amen learns out how to shoot. It's not all Sengun folks there's holes everywhere.

Pray for Amen/Pray for Shooting sounds better than Pray for Victor.

The only other way you can make up for poor defense is elite shooting. Amen and Jalen won't give you that. Maybe ever. Do not expect Curry and Klay from those 2.

I would agree with all of your points if Sengun were capable of defending against 4s, and I wonder if he becomes obsolete if we don't feature him in the game?

In fact, I think that we need to take strategic measures beyond the basketball reasons to get the fans back to the TC. The contentious discussions about Sengun have become so intense that a resolution of this issue could significantly reduce the likelihood of our fans trading insults with each other as they have done in the past.

I think you made this thread because you have thin skin.......this is a message board, of course people are going to throw insults.....

    Ignore option ....I would say.

100% the next Rim Protector is suffering from the same insult tossing.

    Remember this guy?

Thank you for your input and your warm welcome.

I think we are in agreement that the franchise needs to move forward without creating an atmosphere that is even more chaotic. It's refreshing to see that we all agree on something.

I think Amen has shown a lot of promise in the last game. He is getting better every game.

The only problem of this team is not that Alperen is not a rim protector, let's say you brought the best, traded for Rudy Gobert, do you think you will be successful in the playoffs under the leadership of Jalen Green? Alperen is not the only problem, it may be one of the problems but not the only one

Btw rim protector doesn't change the outcome of the last game. We barely managed to score 40 in the first half against one of the worst defenses in the league.
