Im sorry I didnt realize the bar was set so low. Whats ironic about this is last time Jalen spent time away from the team we went on a winning streak and I got into an argument with Richard Jefferson on twitter after he said it was cuz Jalen wasnt playing that we had the streak lol So now I go from being called a homer by an NBA player to now a Jalen Green hater because I want him to play better and he is the biggest reason for the funk. The basketball world is funny sometimes. Anyway enjoy your happiness over the end of funk against the hornets. To me, it wont end till we beat a real team.

Honestly, there's nothing to argue. Green played a good game tonight and we got the win, credit is where credit is due, we should give him the flower. I don't think you are a Jalen Green's hater, and I don't think anybody is. As you correctly pointed out that the 3P shots are one of our weakness. Considering how wide open those 3s are and we could not knock them down, it will definitely haunt us in the long run; however, that's tomorrow's problem. We have to solve things one at a time, as Stone needs to get us some shooters. Fans' opinions change all the time. The fans who posted to fire Silas also the same fans who suggested Silas was the greatest coach after the 8-game winning streak once upon a time. The problem is that you are taking the issues too serious. Let's be honest, NBA trade players all the time. Anyone could get trade at the trade deadline. If Green or anybody on the team got traded this year or we let him go in the FA, all your emotional investments are worthless. Why don't just enjoy the day when our team is winning?

 

Jalen is gaining confidence. His shot is dropping in more smoothly.
It's mostly mental, although he does need to get stronger. His 3 ball will come around, although it may take some more time. There is no need to trade him.

 

Remind me who did we lose to couple of nights ago? At home no less. Were they world beaters? Geez. Why can’t we just enjoy the fking win???

A couple years ago, this team was one of the worst teams in the NBA. Now we're fighting for the play-in

Yeah IMO, he has to go. Time to move on. This is year 3 and he still has problems getting past his defender, has that unorthodox shot where he fades away, isn't good on defense and doesn't seem strong enough for the NBA.

Folks downplaying us beating the hornets are kinda hilarious. We were the bottom btch for every team the last 3 seasons and now we are suddenly looking down on the hornet just bc we are trending up?

 

Everyone is commenting on our situation this season. The past is the past. We are not such a bad team anymore. What don't people like you understand about that? What do you want us to do? You want us to equate our team with the pistons, hornets, spurs, wizards?

 

Aside from Green and Landale breaking out of their funk, another good news is that the Rockets put this game away early and the starters didn't have to play a ton of minutes.

If they get Smith back tomorrow, they've put themselves in a great position to win tomorrow's road game in Brooklyn as well.
