I might not be a basketball savant but at least I didn’t mistaken Green for a superstar like our stupid ass GM did.
The funny thing is three years ago when I was comparing Jalen’s best case to Lavine (not as a compliment), this was when people still thought Lavine was a good player. Now the Bulls are trying to salary dump him. People finally caught on that Lavine sucks too.
Do you guys know how much push back I got for saying stuff like this which now is 100% obvious? People like @i3artow i3aller stalked me for pages as if I attacked their family members. Now he’s crawled up in a hole nowhere to be found.
I completely understand where you are coming from. I proposed trading green for another top 3 or 4 pick in Jabari's draft and I got completely $hit on. People were like you don't trade for an unknown when you have a guy like Green. I put up being able to have Chet and Paolo (since Jabari was considered consensus #1) and people were like you're a fing idiot! Go shoot yourself, etc. Everyone would now take that trade 1000 out of 1000 times. Whatever, being right isn't always popular. I never liked Green or the way he played the game. Never saw super star potential in him.
When I watch Jalen, it looks like he makes his decision at the beginning of the drive and just follows through with the plan no matter what. This is unlike guys like Harden, LeBron, CP3 who are constantly taking in information as the drive develops and making micro adjustments to the situation. He's just not a very cerebral basketball player and that wasn't really a strength that was being highlighted even pre draft.
If you shoot 10,000x and make a layup(one right call) you don't get flowers, you get dismissed Or you get sent a truckload of cactus flowers/plants to smash in your face for the other 9,000+ misses I would love to see some of you posters on here play ball, or shoot it out in a 3pt contest, pretty sure it may be Green like, but 5x worse
