1 out of 7....thats the number....Rockets made only 1 out of 7 assist attempts Alpi made...THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!!!!! Edit:I meant in-n-out game. 1 3-point shot out of 7 attempts
The game will only get easier for Alpi despite all the game planning he faces. He will score at will once he adds a more consistent 3-point range and a FT jumper. His defensive intensity is already improving. His passing/assist numbers will look better once the GM gets another shooter on the court with him. And his rebounding ... that's already off the charts. All-star level. All in all, it's pretty remarkable for a supposedly undersized center.
He could easily average another rebound or two right now by going for the easy ones however if a teammate is around he always lets them get the easy ones.
At least he does not really look undersized, 25% are bigger.... He looks like a PF/C hybrid that is 6'11.
Hell no, if Hakeem was not a true C, I dont know who has ever been and I know all significant NBA players ever. He is The C and some.
Dude missed 2 FTs in a row then Utah players got confused and Clarkson missed an easy bucket. That's why people call him Wizard. He also plays mind games.
Agreed. I think he and Anthony Davis look each other eye to eye. Now if Alpi could develop Davis's timing on D... wow.
This is the most ridiculous stat I have seen this year. Just go look at the 5 man line ups with this combination. The first 11 of them are all positive except for one neutral -0.1, all playing at least 7 minutes. The 7 units with most minutes have at worst 102.3 defensive rating in a total of 127 minutes. A lot of 5 man lineups with +30 net rating. Just crazy. https://www.nba.com/stats/lineups/a..._NAME*NE*Gree&TeamID=1610612745&slug=advanced edit: this filtering filters out Jeff green as well but the point stands.
