ok, I got an invitation to Gmail a few months back. Its great. This week I got 6 invites to give away which I did. I gave myself another account since my first one is just for junk, my second one would be my name at gmail for online invoice transaction type of stuff. This was yesterday morning, I checked my new account last night and I have 6 MORE INVITES! Wierd, are these things not too precious anymore? Or Am I just lucky, I guess? I don't see why they're all that precious to begin with. Google is just slowly ramping up their load to make sure the influx when they open it up to everyone isn't too much strain on their servers. So yeah, they're handing out more and more of the things. It was precious when the things were selling for hundreds on eBay... what a buncha kooks.

I suppose it's because the earlier that you get one, the more likely you are to get the address that you want.
