If Texans win the toss, I hope they receive. If we put points up first, it could really pressure Lamar even more

Hopefully something to make you feel a bit better. Texans were a mess in the first game.

    Personnel*

Jarret Patterson a 6th round rookie was playing his first game. Josh Jones, a tackle was playing LG and was god awful, multiple pressures up the middle. George Fant got hurt and our current Center Deiter had snaps at RT(gave up a sack/fumble) and guard. Then Josh Jones had to play tackle and was equally bad.

Devin Singletary was not getting carries.

Texans did not have any starting safeties early in the 2nd quarter.

    Schematically*
CJ had multiple occurrences he ran the wrong play.
Bobby's play calling caused multiple pressure issues.

    Execution*
CJ and the WR weren't quite on the same page. Multiple times in which you saw WR's not sitting in zone and CJ missing behind receivers due to it.
    3 Procedural penalties(delay of game/illegal motion).

CJ Runs from clean pocket a few times. Something that hasn't been happened at all for a large majority of the year.

CJ doesn't throw the ball away after scrambling backwards 15 yards(this is something he has cleaned up this year as he is very willing to throw the ball away)

Josh Jones just being really bad at playing guard next to Tunsil.

    Outlook*

It is a whole different team. I think CJ can play well against them. In clean pockets he was very effective in the first game in converting reasonable passing situations. The Ravens defense is very disciplined making you have to take the right play each and every time.

Man, we are one win away from the AFC championship game. After last season this is incredible. What’s even crazier is I get the feeling that the Texans aren’t done yet. Ryans has this team believing. Anything is possible.

    Amazing.

Oh Lord how I wish I had put some money on the Texans this last off season.

This is so sweet, beating the Memphis Titans on their field wearing Houston's old colors....

Those Cully,Lovie days are a distant memory now. LFG HOUSTON!!!!!

Really would be an amazing weekend if we can get that win today.

For me, its hearing the excitement from Marc Vandemeer and Andrew Ware.

The other fans fawning over how good CJ is.

    Its fun.

I would rather the defense come out and get a three and out then we score and that would put the same amount of pressure on him

I hate to say it, but the talking heads are right. Baltimore's got this. They've already proven in Week 1 that the Texans just aren't on the same level. The Texans have no chance. This game is nothing more than a nuisance and the REAL match up is next week against Buffalo or KC, THAT is where Baltimore's full attention should be. Definitely need to be thinking ahead to the AFCCG and a Super Bowl trip.

Going to need a lot of things to break right to get this win and after those back to back pick 6es last week you wonder how much more luck we can find.

Still CJ is playing like an MVP and if you can keep him protected I like our chances.

Going to need some turnovers and time for Stroud to pick them apart.

    Baltimore is a dung heap.

I go there 3 or 4 times a year to take my kids to the aquarium since there isn't one in DC.

It's just a sad place all around.
