I'm quite confident that CJ can think for himself no matter what either of our opinions are on the situation. You certainly can't speak for what he thinks nor can I

I don't understand your premise. Ar ryou saying I'm not allowing him to think for himself?

Yes he will think for himself. He seems like the "fake drama is bs" type of guy. I could be proven wrong but he seems like that type of person. You seem like the type who buys into fake drama. Is that opinion of you from me a problem for you?

Why would your opinion of me be a problem? I don't know you so I'm not taking anything personally. I've been completely civil with you when you haven't been at times. It does seem you're arguing just for the sake of it. I get it's the internet though so no big deal.

    Dude.

Ask yourself this question? Does Godzilla even look down at the people he stepped on?
    No.

Be Godzilla. Let the tiny people run and scream while you walk all over them.

Haha. I like it. It's a good point. I was just trying to allow him to justify his position without him trying to create a false narrative. Didn't work

Why are you still replying then?

Like you really care that much I think you are a silly person for buying into this Christian persecution complex? It's that hard for you to accept?

As someone who not only spent a decade working in sports broadcasting but also has been working for the worlds largest Christian Television Network for the last 15yrs, I'd say this is a spot-on assessment. We often edit things down for social media that are not cut down in other places. The fact that the video is available from NBC in full on YouTube and in other places is just evidence that there was not ill-intent. Plus, they also cut out the last 30 seconds of the interview and nobody is upset about that. The Christian persecution complex is ridiculous and overplayed.

Christians in the United States crying persecution is one of the dumber phenomena of our age. There is no, by a country mile, more advantageous thing to identify as in modern society then a Christian.

Almost every member of Congress claims to religious, almost all Christians. There are 535 members of Congress. It's essentially statistically impossible there are no or 1 or 2 atheist/agnostics in that body. But the reality is it is politically entirely untenable to openly identify as an atheist or agnostic and win a seat in Congress in the vast majority of seats. Many are lying about their religious convictions for political expedience.

It's illegal for an atheist to hold public office in 8 states.

It is far, far more difficult to be an openly identifying atheist in American society in almost all circumstances (*save maybe Hollywood) then it is to be a Christian. There is still a massive stigma around atheism.

You are also still replying. You have the ability not to but still choose to. Again, very hypocritical

I don't mind replying. You are the one who has about 8 times by now said "good night" or some other phrase to tell me you are finished. I reply simply stating my opinion that I think you are silly for believing this is some Christian suppression attempt. And it seems like you are very bothered by that.

If CJ thanked snoop dogg instead of Jesus
They wouldn’t have edited the video for social media

    But since he said Jesus
They went 187 on that clip

I'm not bothered whatsoever. I'm not the person resorting to petty insults over a message board.

    Here is Donovan McNabb's opinion:

Donovan McNabb confirmed to me he's a silly person. That's all you conveyed here. Please don't get your emotional ass up on a high horse and pretend you aren't above insults. It's just a deflection to probably subconsciously understanding the premise at face value of NBC football Christian persecution is absurd and don't want to go back to that conversation.

So anyone who disagrees with you is "a silly person ". Got it.

You deleted a portion of your response. I haven't insulted you once during our exchanges. I've however been called stupid, silly and passive aggressive multiple times. Now you've added something you tried to take back because it confirms what I am saying

Yes in the manner of believing that this act by NBC sports was an example of Christians being silenced, I believe anyone who believes that is silly. You start off with an insult, retreat and keep on saying "have a good night" as if fake cordiality isn't passive aggressive. So ya you are passive aggressive.

And I'm the person who is supposedly upset? I haven't retreated from the conversation even though it's a waste of time

You repeadily do the "I'm done" shtick and then come back. Why?

I'm convinced because you can't handle a random stranger thinking you are silly for believing something silly.
