Trump tried to steal the 2020 election and failed.

Maybe another stolen election attempt by the One Man Crime Wave?

It is very possible for Trump to win. No one should take this election for granted.

It is very well possible, there are quite a bit of selfish folks who will vote, and it's a shame they would stoop to have this man as the leader of America, the best the gop can do is trot out a man who has 91 counts against him, is a convicted sexual predator, lies hourly.....but he is much like the folks who will vote for him, they can relate to his personality and his racism, they just don't like to say it out loud so they let trump do it for them

To note only about 15% of IA registered republicans turned out. As an actual reading of where the race is at this might not be that definitive.

And this is why he has no chance. Your viewpoint is a dangerous, fringe, minority, that drives real conservatives to hold their nose and vote for Biden.

That minority shows up in the primaries but in the general they will be shown for what they are.

If the majority of Nikki Haley's voters vote for Biden, Trump is toast.... IN IOWA.

I don't really understand the flex by Trump supporters like this jackass today.

Two things will sink the Democrats.

The border. Spiraling out of control and it's not even Mexicans who are coming over. It's people from all over the world. I'd welcome the Mexicans that want to come over. It's the people from China, Uzbekistan, and Syria that I have questions about their intentions. Massive security risk and of course economic/jobs risk to the lower end of the socioeconomic curve. At minimum we need to know who is in the country. Trump's vision 8 years ago to make this issue a top priority was prescient.

Lawfare. The Democrats' abuse of the once-respected legal system to accomplish their political goals has damaged our legal system's credibility globally. The baseless, coordinated cases against Trump are not fooling anyone, which is why Trump has risen in the polls. The Democrats turned Trump into a victim with their corrupt and selfish moves... which are trashing once-respected American institutions.

I do actually know a small handful of people who did vote for Trump twice say openly that they will never vote for Trump again. They hate Biden too, but they say they are done with Trump. Maybe they are all lying, and in the end will try everything they can to justify the vote for him, but if there is a portion, lets say 5 to 10% who have left him, where is he making up that ground lost?

Trump needs for a few things to happen in order to win:

-Biden needs to lose significant support especially in battleground states
-ALL of Trump supporters need to show up in force (I do believe this will happen)
-A third party candidate FROM THE LEFT needs to emerge as a candidate more serious than Jill Stein, but not necessarily as serious as Ralph Nader
-Trump needs to gain some support from the electorate of previous non voters to make up for those who left him prior or died

I do think Trump can absolutely win, and it'll be close. However all 4 of those plot points lead to a betting man putting money on Biden.

    ..........

EVEN THOUGH THERE IS REASON TO BE CONFIDENT, there is also a really good reason to freak out.

This is really a true test of Democracy because that's what this election will be about in the end despite Biden's camp's initial push to make it about kitchen table policy. It'll end up being an existential question of whether you still want to live in a Democracy or if you are openly giving your vote to install a Trump dictatorship. If Trump is elected President again, he'll never leave in 2028, and if he dies, he'll lay the groundwork for a crony to just continue where he left off or, we'll see a Game of Thrones style war for the throne among all American factions... opening up the possibility for a Castro type leftist to take power un-Democratically.

This last point is exactly why Republicans should think twice about voting for a Trump dictatorship. Trump isn't young and certainly is not healthy. He's going to die in the next 10 years most likely of some sort of heart condition, cancer, etc. Its VERY unlikely he makes it to 90. If we lose our Democracy, there will be no reason why a Castro type of leftist couldn't take power as early as 2036 or 2040.

Only one party is trying to take Trump off the ballot.
Only one party is trying to keep Democrat primary challenger Dean Phillips off the ballot.
Only one party is trying to imprison the leading contender in the other party.

Tell me again who is a threat to Democracy? Obvious answer: Democrats

    TRUTH HURTS

Is that weather induced, influenced by the assumption that the orange moron was already going to win, or is that a common #? If it's the latter, why is it so important that Iowa remain first if their voting population doesn't bother to show up?
